Client Service Specialist
Michelle brings over 30 years of administrative and operational experience in the financial services and wealth management industry to her role as Client Service Specialist here at Towerpoint Wealth. Her career in the industry began at her father’s stock brokerage firm in Denver, Colorado, and led to the Operations Departments at Dean Witter, then Morgan Stanley. Michelle moved to Sacramento in 1993 to work for Smith Barney. She spent almost two years there before being recruited to work at Prudential Securities as a Client Associate for five financial advisors.
While at Prudential Securities, Michelle quickly promoted to Operations Manager, a role she held for more than three years, maintaining an “audit-ready” office at all times. Importantly, Michelle had zero failed audits.
Wachovia acquired Prudential, then Wells Fargo Advisors acquired Wachovia, and through all the transitions, Michelle continued to accept promotions, gain skills, and provide operations and administrative support to financial advisors, Executive Market Managers and Executive Department Managers. She spent a number of years in nationwide roles that required extensive country-wide travel. Via her positions at the legacy Prudential Securities and Wachovia Securities firms, Michelle ultimately worked at Wells Fargo Advisors for almost 24 years.
Michelle graduated from Gilroy High School in 1985, before joining her father’s company in Denver. She now resides in Natomas, and has two adopted “fur babies” at home – Sissy & Mr. Blue. Though she has spent more time in California, she is a huge Denver Broncos fan, enjoys traveling, wine tasting and is also looking forward to learning how to golf now that she is not on the road every week.
